2027 ATAP Winter Conference Call for Presentations

ATAP is excited to announce the 2027Winter Conference, February 2-5, 2027, in Orlando, FL.

We are hoping to introduce some new and exciting speakers, who can share their knowledge and experience with our attendees.

All ATAP members, and talented people known to ATAP members, are encouraged to submit an abstract. We are particularly interested in practical case management presentations, including workshops and detailed case studies; Once submitted, our agenda committee will review your proposal.

This conference is co-sponsored by the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center (NUPPC) who is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstract submissions are limited to two (2) submissions per presenter. 
  • Presentations should be limited to two (2) presenters overall. Presentations requiring more than two presenters will considered on a case by case basis.
    ATAP will only fund travel and accommodations for up to two (2) presenters per session. 

  • Submissions should be limited to 60 or 75 minute presentations. 
  • DEADLINE: All submissions must be made by the end of the day on August 31, 2026. Submissions made after August 31, 2026 will not be considered by the speaker committee. 

 

Submission Instructions: 

  • Please review this checklist of requirements BEFORE you submit your online Presentation Information form for the 2027 Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) Winter Conference.
  • Choose ONE presenter to enter the information about the presentation who will list all the co-presenters with their email addresses. Once this has been completed, the co-presenters will get an email with a link to this same form. They will be asked to complete the online demographic information and conflict of interest (in red).
  • Once you have reviewed this checklist, and have compiled all the appropriate materials, please complete the online form.

Learning objectives listed in submissions must meet APA standards. Please review APA's Guidelines when submitting. 

 

All submissions will receive a response in October 2026.
