The Association of Threat Assessment Professionals and the Los Angeles Police Department Threat Management Unit are pleased to present the Thirty-Fourth Annual Threat Management Conference, taking place August 11–14, 2026, at The Disneyland Resort Hotel in Anaheim, California. This annual conference brings together professionals across threat assessment, public safety, behavioral science, legal, education, corporate security, and victim services fields to explore current issues, research, and practices related to the prevention of targeted violence.

This year’s conference will focus on major areas of concern, including mass shootings and other public attacks, workplace violence, school and campus violence, domestic violence, assassination of public figures, and related threat management challenges. Attendees will hear from nationally recognized speakers who will share timely information, case-informed insights, research findings, and practical techniques designed to support effective prevention, intervention, and response strategies.
